The Lady Gaga Bad Romance Cover Video by Love and Logic is very clever and unique. It makes use of four iPhone’s playing back in sync to give a compelling performance. If you haven’t seen it, it’s at the bottom of this page. But first, take a look at something that goes one step beyond, maybe two.
One of the funkiest bands on the planet is the Israeli band Izabo. Members are Ran Shem-Tov, Jonathan Levy, Shiri Hadar, Nir Mantsur. They play diverse Rock, Alternative, Middle Eastern, Psychedelic music.
The iPhone again takes center stage, but this time there are a bunch of them, 14 iPhones. Izabo weaves a very complex filming project together, creating a music video truly fun and totally absorbing. While the Lady Gaga video is a bit dark and serious, this video is brilliant, crazy, and fun. The sheer number of multiple film shots required a lot of video board work. A very smart iPhone music video.
Here are three Izabo videos. Take a look at the videos from both Izabo & Love and Logic videos, and both their ‘Making of…videos” and you can learn a lot about music video production.

from Izabo Website: Izabo’s music has been described as a “Brilliant, action packed combination of Psychedelic Rock, Disco, Punk and Arabic spices”, or, if we are to name-drop, like an unlikely cross between Led Zeppelin, the Talking Heads, and Om Koltom. Featuring high-to-ultra-high vocals, twisting and expressive Arab-flavored guitar work, powerfully funky bass lines, arrogantly catchy keyboards and intense disco beats, Izabo have established themselves as one of Israel’s most absorbing live acts.
